Only Shahrukh, no Amitabh

Sometimes rumours spread so wild that you have to go and publicly deny it. ForFarah Khan, it was unbelievable as the buzz involved a name like Amitabh Bachchan leading her to clearly state that it’s only best friend Shahrukh Khan in her film.

The speculations were rife that Big B and SRK will star together in Farah’s next,Happy New Year. The movie, which is going to be Farah’s third film with SRK after the blockbusters Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om, has created quite a hubbub in the industry even though the script isn’t ready yet.

Thus, the choreographer-turned-director denied any of the recent gossip related to her movie - “There is no truth in the rumour that Big B is going to star in the film. Besides SRK, I never cast anyone in my film till I have my script ready. As of now, only Shahrukh and me are in the film.”

‘Happy New Year’ is tagged to be a “modern and contemporary” movie and was also rumoured to be starring Sanjay Dutt, Zayed Khan and Juhi Chawla, according to sources. Farah has rubbished these rumours too.

As for now, the talented female is busy shooting with her chat show ‘Tere Mere Beech Mein’, and will later complete the half-written script of ‘Happy New Year’.
