Aamir Khan and Salman Khan have always been good friends. Sallu has always been fond of Aamir and has always supported him and his films. He had even painted special canvases that helped the promotion of Aamir’s Ghajini.

Recently, Salman sought the advice of Aamir Khan on on which piece of land to buy in Panchgani. Aamir owns a beautiful house there and so was able to give him his advice.

Pinto to star in ‘Rise of the Apes’

Ever after ‘Slumdog millionaire’s’ success, there is not turning back for Frieda Pinto. Though she isn’t doing that well in Bollywood, she’s flying high in Hollywood.

News is that, Freida will join James Franco in 20th Century Fox’s “Rise of the Apes”the prequel to “Planet of the Apes.” In the movie Freida will play the role of Caroline, a primatologist.

She recently wrapped Julian Schnabel’s “Miral,” is currently filming Immortals the Greek gods fantasy directed by Tarsem Singh, and will next be seen in Woody Allen’s “You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger.”

Directed, by Rupert Wyatt, ‘Rise of the Apes’ will commence shooting this summer in British Columbia.

The film is expected on open on June 24, 2011

Shahrukh in ‘spitting’ competition

We are all aware that, the world celebrated Father’s Day last Sunday. Some of the Bollywood kids celebrated it in an extra ordinary way.
In a playful mood, Shahrukh Khan approved of a spitting contest with his son, Aryan.

The son got inspired by the spitting talent shown by the beautiful Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio in Titanic. SRK tweets, “With my son. Had seen spitting contest in Titanic. Trying to recreate this awful dirty and childish prank with him. It’s Father’s Day!”

Shahrukh is now in Turkey, holidaying with his kids as their summer vacations are on, and for the competition, he is all game – “Have to muster up some pressure in the mouth for the spitting championships.”

Katrina Kaif unwell again

Katrina Kaif has been shooting for Zoya Akhtar’s film Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara in Spain, from quite sometime. The poor girl, sprained her neck recently while working out zealously in the gym. Gymming is the only leisurely activity Kat has found while shooting in Spain.

The actress admits that she’s been working out more in gym than she’s used to, and on Monday, during her gym session, she ended up spraining her neck, which is now stiff. So Kat can’t turn her neck left or right. She can only look straight.

Though this could cause problem during the shooting of action sequences, Kat is not ready to let the shooting suffer because of her sprained neck.

She’s the one who normally gets the others’ necks craned and heads turned with her spotless beauty. But this time, it is she herself who is feeling the pain.

Aishwarya Rai rejects Brad Pitt’s offer

Bollywood’s stunning beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, has rejected a Hollywood project, starring the handsome hunk Brad Pitt due to various other commitment to Bollywood.

Confirming the news, Aishwarya said, “It wasn`t about an attitude I had, or any inverted ideas about working overseas, it was simply about scheduling. I just didn`t have the time”.

The 36-year-old actress had earlier said no to the Brad Pitt starrer ‘Troy’ as she was not comfortable with the intimate scenes. She even turned down movies like ‘Hancock’ and ‘Seven Pounds’ in the past that had some of the most awe-strikinginternational filmmakers and actors.

Angelina Jolie to play ‘Draupadi’ in Jha’s next

Overwhelmed by the success of Raajneeti, which was a contemporary adaptation of The Mahabharata, Prakesh Jha is taking a step ahead by making a full-fledged film that will be centred on the character of Draupadi, the wife of the five pandavas.

He intends to make this film for the international audiences. And guess what??? He plans to rope in Hollywood star Angelina Jolie for this flick.

Jha says that he wanted to make a film on Draupadi for quite some time. He even tried roping in Madhuri Dixit for the role a few years back, but the project just fell through. Now, he’s reviving the film which he calls “the ultimate tribute to womanhood”.

“I’m going to make it as an international film with an international cast…” Jha was quoted as saying.

Now, the question is, will Jolie, or any other Hollywood star for that matter, be able to do justice to the complex character of Draupadi???

Bebo enters Golmaal 3 with a bash

Well, Rohit Shetty’s, Golmaal 3, will see the stunning Kareena Kapoor; make a smashing entry on the bonnet of a moving automobile. When he can make Ajay Devgan propose his love to Bipasha Basu in a mid-air upended car in All the Best, he can very well do this too.

Kareena’s entry in Golmaal 3 will be the most eye catching scene in the entire flick. She will be seen standing atop the bonnet of a snazzy race car. Necessary security measures were taken. Kareena was harnessed to a safety cable in case the stunt went wrong.But our bravo Bebo pulled off the stunt very well.

Other actors including Ajay Devgan, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Khemu, Arshad Warsi and Mithun Chakraborty will also be seen in this flick.

John to romance Deepika on-screen

Well, the sultry beauty Deepika padukone and the super sexy John Abraham will soon be seen playing a romantic couple on screen

South director, Ravi Maria, we hear, is planning to remake his Tamil hit film ‘Milaga’ in Hindi and Telugu. For the Hindi flick titled Mirchi, he has Deepika and John in mind.

According to Maria, John has even expressed his interest in being a part of theproject.

“John Abraham has recently watched ‘Milaga’ and expressed interest to act in its Hindi remake. The Bollywood version titled ‘Mirchi’ would have Deepika Padukone as heroine,” Maria was quoted to have told a website recently.

The Hindi film will be set in Goa.

John Abraham turns bad guy again

John Abraham was extremely delighted when critics raved about his extra ordinary performance as a villain in films like Dhoom and New York that went on to become a super-duper hit. It definitely boosted the confidence of the model-turned actor.

Now, as his career graph is rising, producer Ramesh Taurani of Race 2 has signed John to play the villain. John has been finalized to share screen space with Saif Ali Khan and Anil Kapoor.

According to director Abbas-Mustan, this ensemble cast, is ‘perfectly balanced’ now.

About the heroines in the flick, Bipasha Basu will not be a part of the sequel. Actresses like Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif are among the top names which are being considered.

Race 2 will go on floors in 2011.

Abhi-Bebo comes together once again

Bebo is all set to play the role of a sex-worker in Sanjay Leela Bhansali next flick,Heera Mandi. The film will star Abhishek in the lead opp Kareena. Sanjay and Bebo were looking forward to work together from a very long time but due to personal and professional reasons their plans fell apart every time.

Bhansali will start working on the film as soon as he wraps up Guzaarish which has Hrithik Roshan and Aishwaya Rai in lead. In fact, the buzz also suggested that Bhansali, who is quite impressed with Hrithik’s work in Guzaarish, might sign him for the project. But sources claim that Abhi is a strong contender to play the film’s lead actor.

Kareena made her debut with Abhishek in the year 2000 with the movie Refugee and later they were seen together in Sooraj Barjatya’s film Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon in the year 2003.

Srk-Akhi share a light moment in mid-air

Who said two superstars can’t be friends??? All the rumours between Shahrukh Khan and Akshay Kumar took a back seat when the two stars met up on a flight to London and bonded like thick buddies. They joked and laughed and later tweeted about their mid-air experience.

Akshay wrote: “I flew back to London to join my wife and son for our summer holidays and I met Shah Rukh Khan on my flight! It was nice to know Shah Rukh feels as grateful as I am for being a part of our industry and how lucky we are.”

Shahrukh, too, enjoyed bonding with Akshay. He tweeted: “I had Akshay Kumar for company on flight. Was wonderful to be with him after so long. Laughed for hours. We always do whenever we meet. Happiness to him.”

Shahrukh was flying to London to shoot for his home production Ra.One and also attend the premiere of Raavan.

‘I want to be perfectly rounded’: Kareena Kapoor

Thje super sexy Kareena Kapoor wants to be well-rounded again. Well, she has recovered from her ‘Size Zero’ frenzy I guess. The actress, who was quite healthy as a teenager, once again wants to get back those curves, which she shed during the making of ‘Tashan’.

The actress, who is shooting ‘Golmaal 3’ in Hyderabad, revealed that, “For once, things are the exact opposite for the two of us. Lolo (Karisma) is trying to lose her post natal fat; and I’m trying to put on a little weight.”

“I want to be perfectly rounded. I’m bored of being too thin. And I actually enjoy eating at a neighbourhood café,” Kareena said.

Bebo is also missing her family like hell. “God I’m missing Mumbai and I’m missing spending time with Lolo and my nephew,” she said.

War between Ajay-Kajol at the box office

Bollywood’s sweetest couple, Kajol and Ajay Devgan may soon land up in the middle of a box office clash. According to reports, their individual films will release around same time.

Ajay’s ‘Aakrosh’, directed by Priyadarshan, is releasing on October 1, while Kajol’s ‘Love You Maa’, a remake of Hollywood flick Stepmom, will also release the same week.

If this happens it would be one of the rare occasions in Bollywood when a husband and wife will compete with each other.

Kajol plays a new role

Actress Kajol has taken up a new responsibility now. The actress is making sure that the career of her sister Tanisha is personally monitored by her from now on.

Tanisha, who made her Bollywood debut long back and was looked upon as the next big thing actually didn’t prove quite effective at the box-office. This in turn put her career on a backburner with only a few films coming her way.

Ex-lovers Shahid-Bebo are back in action

The story goes like this……

Amit (Shahid Kapoor) and Priya (Kareena Kapoor) meet at a Youth festival in Bangkok.

Priya is a girl with substance, exactly opposite the teens and college going students of today’s time. A pure romantic at heart she has this image of her would be life partner, who she expects would be a teetotaler, a guy who doesn’t smoke and who doesn’t lie.

Amit is totally opposite of what Priya wants from her life partner. He drinks like a fish, lies on the slightest pretext and is a chain smoker.

Their world collides when Amit by chance lays his hands on Priya’s personal diary and learns of her likes and dislikes. He poses as her dream mate by giving her a totally different picture of himself. Priya gets instantly attracted to Amit, and they spend days together cavorting around Bangkok, coming closer by the second.

Priya discovers the copy of her diary in Amit’s room and realises that he has made a fool of her. Amit is at a local bar having the last glass of beer and the last cigarette of his life. Priya appears in front of him and hell breaks loose. With a broken heart she confronts him and breaks the relationship. Priya decides that if it is fate that they should be together, then they will find each other in Delhi again, although both do not know each other’s whereabouts in Delhi.

Years go by and we introduce a new Amit as he comes back to Delhi from USA after getting his business management degree. He has gone through a complete personality change. He has become the man that Priya dreamed about. On the other hand Priya has also moved on in life. She has now become a successful music video director and is in a relationship with a pop singer

Both of them are about to be married, but still have this nagging feeling that the other was his/her one true love. Fate conspires to bring them back together, as they each simultaneously undertake one last attempt to find one another just before they get married to someone else.

Shahid plays an Air Force pilot in daddy’s next!!!

Pankaj Kapur’s Mausam will have Shahid Kapoor sport four different looks, each of the looks coinciding with a season.

One of the looks is that of an Air Force pilot. The film is currently being shot in Scotland. Sonam Kapoor plays Shahid’s love interest in the film.

Dad Pankaj Kapur has been putting Shahid to quite a task while shooting. Just a few days back, the actor himself admitted that he’s often dumbfounded in front of his super-talented dad.

Did you know, Bollywood’s chocolate boy Shahid Kapoor, is a very emotional guy???

Well, yes!! He is, and especially when it comes to Piggy Chops, he gets all the more emotional. So much that he cannot decide on buying a new property just because he doesn’t want to part ways with his best buddy – Piggy Chops who is his neighbour too.

According to reports, Shahid Kapoor planned to buy a bigger apartment but is delaying the move, since he cannot imagine parting ways with Priyanka. So, right now, Shahid has put the plans on hold.

Well, looks like Shahid and Priyanka share a very stong and unbreakable bond together.

Salman Khan ignores Kats

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif don not share the same old chemistry any more, which at one point of time was exemplary.

Buzz is that Salman recently ignored Katrina at a marriage ceremony giving rise to a no of questions about their relationship. In the recent past too, there have been occasional rumors about their break up’s and patch up’s, though Katrina has denied all this flatly.

So, what could explain the latest incident of Salman and Katrina avoiding each other in public then?

Guess all is not well between the two.

Salman in Farah’s Om Shanti Om and Main Hoon Na sequels??

We all know by now that the once upon a time best friends, Shah Rukh and Farah khan, are not as thick as they were.

Farah chose Akshay over SRK for Tees Maar Khan. Now, news is that, she might work with Salman Khan for her next movie.

Salman and Farah have been close buddies since a long time. Their friendship was very evident when recently, Salman Khan came as a guest judge on a dance reality show which Farah judges.

Salman then wittily quipped that he had been selected for the lead role in the sequel of Farah’s ‘Om Shanti Om’ and ‘Main Hoon Na’.

Farah has also not denied it. She responded by saying he would be in the sequels.
Though it was a joke between them, it was a little difficult for SRK to swallow it.

When members of the media asked SRK about this, he chose to ignore it and remained mum on the issue. SRK was jovial earlier and answering all the questions with his usual wit and charm but the colour drained from his face when asked about Farah and Salman.

Well, I’m sure this incident is gonna create a war between the three.
