Shilpa Shetty got engaged to her long time boyfriend, a businessman from London yesterday.Shilpa wore a stunning Manish Malhotra saree and uncutdiamond jewellery designed by anmol Jewelery.

A spokesperson from Anmol Jewellers says, “Yes we are designing theengagement jewelery for Shilpa. We have basically designed the necklace, earrings and bangles. All the jewelery has been custom made. We will also be designing her wedding jewellery but I am not authorised to speak about any more details right now.”

Apparently the date of wedding has also been decided.

We congratulate the happy couple. 

Ranbir:Katrina is a bully

Everybody is talking about Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif’s chemistry in the promos of Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and the reason behind it is Kat-Ranbir’s great camaraderie off-screen.

Katrina talking about the flick says, “It’s an ordinary love story about ordinary people leading ordinary lives, but told in an unusual way.”

Ranbir agrees with her, “That’s the perfect way to describe it.”

Talking about their chemistry Ranbir says, “Chemistry is not something that two individuals have, it’s what two characters have in a film. It’s great that people are seeing this chemistry because this is a romantic film. I am happy that people can see it even in the promos of the film.”

“Katrina was constantly bullying me and I was constantly complimenting her.”

There’s no doubt that they are looking rocking together.

Katrina:I am Kareena’s big fan

All those negative comments put aside, Katrina recently revealed that she is a big fan of Kareena and they even share their manager.

Katrina says, “She is very nice girl and I like her as well as her work. We even shares one manager and I am a big fan of her.

”Katrina adds, “Whenever we meet each other she talks with me very nicely and I too love her company. I really do admire her as one of the great actress in the industry.”

It’s good to see the two hotties bonding so well.

SRK to play IPL man Lalit Modi

If things fall in right place you would soon see Bollywood of Baadshah playing the role of Mastermind of IPL Lalit Modi.

The flick will be called The Commissioner and will show Lalit’s childhood his struggle and his success as IPL’s chei.

Managing director, Shailendra Singh says, Lalit is an intriguing person. He made the IPL a phenomenon and multiplied the BCCL’s income by hundred in one year. We spent a year researching his life and now we know more about him than the man does about himself.”

Bollywood movies based on cricket, like Lagaan and Jannat, have been successful. The combination of Bollywood and cricket makes for a potent story and I’m sure the youth of India would love to know more about the man behind the IPL success story.We’re here to entertain, so it will be a fictionalised biopic. We’re following the lines of Guru, the movie based on the life of Dhirubhai Ambani,”

Shailender wants SRK to portray Lalit, he says, “I’d like to have Shah Rukh Khan for the lead role, as both men are dynamic and have high energy levels. They have similar personalities. Shahid Kapoor or Irffan Khan are also suitable for the lead role. While Irrfan is a complete contrast to Lalit’s personality, he is an intense actor and will be able to carry off the role well.”

Let’s see if this flick will rock like IPL.

Aishwarya to work for her manager

Aishwarya Rai is helping her business manager for his upcoming flick based on a war widow. Hari Singh is Aish’s business manager for 12 years and she will be doing a cameo in his movie without charging a single buck.

The movie will be directed by Jagmohan Mundra, who directed Aishwarya in Provoked and Ash will be playing the role of a lawyer who fights the widow’s case int he climax.
Jagmohan says, Hari Singh approached me to direct a film that tells the emotional and heartrending tale of a war widow, and I have agreed to do it. Ash has a special appearance in the film and it will certainly be the USP of the movie. It can’t be called a cameo as it is an extremely crucial character that gets all the attention in the courtroom drama. We are expected to shoot next year as soon as the rest of the cast is finalised. I’m thrilled to team up with Ash again.”

Hari Singh’s daughter will play the main lead in the flick.

Asin says no to SRK

It’s dream of every newcomer to star opposite the Baadshah of BollywoodSRK,but Asin begs to differ because she has turned down an offer to work opposite SRK.

Asin who has worked with Aamir Khan in Ghajini and Salman Khan in London Dreams and couldn’t work with SRK because of date hassles.

A source says, “Ever since Asin appeared on Farah’s show Tere Mere Beach Mein, they have been in touch. When Farah offered her the role, initially Asin was quite excited. It is not known why she refused Farah’s film.”

She conveyed that the dates which Farah needed would be clashing with her other assignments.”

Now that’s a very strong decision, I wonder how she could say no to SRK. Well lets see if her decision transforms into her loss or into gain.

Salman: My favourite actress is Preity

Salman Khan on his show 10 Ka Dum recently revealed that his favourite actressis bubbly Preity Zinta.

Recently when the cast of Radio- Shehnaz Treasurywala and Sonal Sehgal asked him about his favourite actress, he took his own time to come up with an answer.

He said, “Preity Zinta. I love her bluntness, her jovial nature, her positive thinking. I like her happy personality.”

Now Preity will be really happy knowing this.

Kareena doesn’t want to shoot with Shahid

Kareena Kapoor has refused to shoot for Satish Kaushik’s Milenge Milenge with Shahid Kapoor, for the two new songs recorded by Himesh.

A source close to Kareena says, “Kareena is more than happy to extend all cooperation to producer Boney Kapoor and director Satish Kaushik, but she won’t shoot an extra songs for the film. Shahid is a closed chapter.”

The new song recorded by Himesh is the promotional track of the movie. Shahid and Bebo have ruled out any public appearances for the publicity of the flick together.

Director Saitsh Kaushik says, “Neither Shahid nor Kareena will shoot any more for the film. We’ll use the footage that we have for the two songs in the beginning and end-titles and for the promotional video.”

Bollywood ladies while all the married ones observed Karwa Chauth’s fast, girlfriends abstained from keeping fasts.

While Aishwarya Rai and hubby Abhishek Bachchan specially flew down to home to celebrate Karwa Chauth, other actresses also fasted for the long life of their husbands.

On Kajol fasting for her hubby Ajay, he says, “I have told her many times not to fast but it is something she likes to do.

I don’t know how it helps in increasing the husband’s life, but I am sure it helps the wives.

They fast for a whole day, detox their systems and get healthy, so I think it benefits them more.”

Kareena says, “I am shooting and it’s difficult to fast while working. Maybe I will keep karva chauth after seven years.”

Katrina Kaif says, “For what? I am not married.”

Sridevi observed the fast, hubby Boney says, Sri has been keeping karva chauth for the last 13 years, ever since we got married. Yesterday evening we went to our parents home in Andheri and celebrated the occasion with dinner there along with my brother Sanjay and his wife Maheep.”

Kangana is in love again, and she is seeing Hrithik Roshan’s new co-star Spanish actress Barbara Mori’s brother Kintaro Mori.

A source says, “Kangna began bonding with Kintaro even when she was dating Adhyayan Suman. Her close friendship to Kintaro is said to be one of the major reasons for her and Suman’s breakup. The duo have been spotted all around the town – be it at dinner or at nightclubs.”

Their closeness first became the talk of the town when they were seennecking at Hrithik Roshan’s residence on his birthday. The Mori boy is pursuing his dream of becoming a singer, and has moved his base to Mumbai. He is a stranger to the city, and Kangna is one of his close mates.”
