Seems multiple roles are in for Priyanka Chopra this season. While she becomes the first ever actress to portray 12 different roles in one flick in ‘Whats Your Rashee?’ she has yet another multiple role film awaiting for her. She, in most probability, will play the roles of 7 brides to seven different men in Vishal Bhardwaj’s next titled ‘7 Husbands’. She will have different get ups for each wife and the seven different actors for the role of husbands are yet to be finalized.Priyanka has already worked with Vishal in ‘Kaminey’ and the director was so impressed with her dedication and devotion that he, without second thoughts, chose Priyanka as his heroine while scripting for 7 Husbands. Priyanka’s fabulous performance in her latest ‘Whats Your Rashee?’ also helped him make up his mind as Piggie Chops is getting rave reviews for the way she has carried off twelve different roles in the film.

‘7 husbands’ is still in the scripting process and is expected to go on floors next year.

Sonam Kapoor has not yet tasted success as both her films, ‘Saawariya’ and ‘Delhi 6’ bombed at the box office. At present, she is busy with father Anil Kapoor’s home production ‘Ayesha’ which is desi adaptation of Jane Austen’s novel ‘Emma’.However, Sonam Kapoor knows quite well how to race ahead of her contemporaries. As per the survey of the magazine ‘People’, this newcomer has beaten the likes of Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor to emerge as the best dressed celebrity in India. Following her are Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Twinkle Khanna in the second, third and fourth position respectively.

Speaking about her style statement, Sonam says, “My style isn’t about trends. I don’t let the clothes wear me, I wear them.”

Lakme India Fashion Week 2010saw the most beautiful of all beauties come to life whenDeepika Padukone attired nothing less than an angel sashayed down the ramp on the day 4 of the fashion week, as the showstopper for designers Gauri and Nainika. Even the prettiest of angels looked down in jealousy as Deepika romanced with satin and frill in a vintage black-and-white gown in the hazy hues of the ramp.

The show also had Dia Mirza and Sameera Reddy sashay down the ramp. However, hot babes like Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif, Kajol and Genelia preferred the front rows rather than the spotlight of the ramp.

Salman Khan came early and alone at the party, after some time, Katrina arrived with designer Rocky S in his car.

The couple did not see eye-to-eye and neither made an effort to talk to each other during the entire party. However just a day before Katrina attended Sallu’s Eid bash.

The fans got to have a interactive session with the stars as the two shared anecdotes about the making of their latest movie with RJ Jeeturaj on Mumbai’s favourite show ‘Hi Mumbai’. They talked about their faith in astrology, their traits and star signs and everything about their rashee. They also praised the music of the film that has been given by composer Sohail Sen.

Talking about the film, Priyanka said, “It’s a comedy, all in all, a really funny story of an NRI Gujrati boy who comes to India and must find a bride in 10 days, and how his matrimonial ad receives responses from an astounding 160 girls!”

Asin Thottumkal has been recently hospitalized at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital due to acute sinus.

Asin’s father said,”Yes she’s in hospital. Nothing to worry about. All this is part of the process of my daughter’s growing up.”

A buddy of Asin says, “Asin was admitted to the Dhirubhai hospital… not for exhaustion but an acute sinus condition. She had been neglecting the condition for quite some time now. But now the sinus situation had to be attended to. But she was in great spirits, her usual chirpy and friendly self singing even as her treatment was being done.”

“She had no choice but to get into the hospital to have the condition treated. She waited until Eid when there was break from work.”

Alice in Wonderland comes to Bollywood

Director of Quick Gun Murugan, Shashanka Ghosh is all set to make a Hindi version of Alice in Wonderland.

Alice’s Indian counterpart will be called Alisha, director Shahsank says, It’s not based on Alice In Wonderland. It’s a straight adaptation. But it is going to be a completely Indianised version of Alice In Wonderland named Alisha. My Alisha will be will be a very contemporary take on the fable.”

Talking about the actresses who would portray the role of Alice, he says, “Someone sexy. But she has to pull off a child’s bewilderment.”

Shashank has zeroed on Katrina Kaif,Sonam Kapoor and Soha Ali Khan for the role of Alice.

Deepika Padukone and Malaika Arora,both were showstopper for their respective designers at Lakme Fashion Week 2010. While Deepika graced the ramp as theshowstopper for designer duo Gauri and Nainika , Malaika walked the ramp for Mandira Wirk’s Humble Luxe collection.

Malaika talking about Mandira’s collection said, “The colors are very girly, very flirtatious and very lady-like as Mandira would say. When she asked what I would like to wear as a showstopper, I said, a long big gown would be nicer. Essentially the style, the silhouettes are all part of her Summer 2010 Spring Summer collection.”

NDTV:Rakhi still with Elesh

While Rakhi Sawant in a recent interview revealed that she has split with Swayamvar fiancee Elesh Parjunwala, sources from NDTV Imagine say that they are still together.

A source from NDTV says,”Rakhi has not called it splits with Elesh. The couple are still seeing each other and very much together.”

“Rakhi has not broken off her engagement with Elesh. This is only an unnecessary buzz that media has created. She is very much with him. She has in fact been noticed being very cosy with him.”

Rakhi even calls Elesh lovingly as a baby and are always spotted cuddling and kissing each other.

SRK-Akki bond together

After a long battle over who is the Superstar No 1 of Bollywood, superstars SRK and Akshay Kumar bade goodbye to dushmani and said hello to Dostana at Film city yesterday. SRK was shooting at the film city for an ad and Akshay was filming for his upcoming movie Blue.

It was Baadshah of Bollywood,SRK, who went all the way to Akki’s shooting set to meet him and Akki was surely surprised.

A source from the sets of Blue says, “SRK walked in on the sets of Blue yesterday afternoon to meet Akshay. SRK was shooting nearby on floor no 12 for an ad film when he heard that Akshay was shooting on floor no 1 for Blue. There were some media persons who were present on the sets of Blue.

They were surprised to suddenly see SRK on the sets of Akshay’s film. As soon as he heard about SRK’s visit, Akshay came out of his vanity van to greet him. Their body language was very friendly.

The two stars chatted inside the vanity van for 20 minutes. They have been discussing the possibility of a joint venture. Earlier too they had discussed the possibility of doing a film together at Preity Zinta’s birthday party. Now they have taken their discussion a step ahead. The film will be jointly produced by SRK’s production company Red Chillies and Akshay’s Hari Om Productions.”

“Akshay and SRK know that it will be nothing short of a dream cast if they are seen together in a film made by them.”

We surely agree with this sure, it would be great to see the Badshah and the King together. What say folks?

John:Karan-SRK have great taste in men

John Abraham is the latest guest on Farah Khan’s show Tere Mere Beach Mein along with Yuvraaj Khan. John discusses with Farah how great taste in men both SRK and Karan have, ‘coz they were the judges at Gladrags competition and made John the winner.

John also talks about his hero, Tom Cruise, he says, “I just have oneinternational star as my hero..Tom Cruise.” Farah asks, ”Koi ladki ya heroine ke nahi thi?” John says no and Farah asks back, ”That’s why you did Dostana!”

John laughs, “Tabhi Dostana ki…pehle Tom Cruise, then Abhishek Bachchan..then Shah Rukh Khan.” Farah in full humour says,, “so you were into guys as a kid!” John smiles, “Farah, I was never into guys.”

Then John recollects his shy pimply days, “I used to be very shy. There was a time when my face was full of pimples and I just never used to look up when in the company of girls so much so that they used to feel that I was such a shy, sweet, decent boy. Only I couldn’t tell them that my face is full of pimples and that’s the only reason I’m looking down!”
